When we purchased the house in New Hope, we knew updating was required, as we started the process we learned another huge lesson - Don't trust home inspectors unless you know they are serving "your" best interests. After some really hit or miss experiences with various contractors and handyman hires, I decided it was time to expand my skill set and shockingly I have learned that, with a little determination and hard work, there aren't too many jobs I am unable to do! After getting our feet wet with our own home we were presented with an investment opportunity and we took the plunge and purchased our second property.
